Designed in response to the Sopwith Triplane, the Dreidecker or DR.I quickly became the plane of choice for many of the famous german aces. Supremely manueverable and a quick climber, the DR.I is rather lacking in the speed department, but for the skilled pilot it is a powerful and dangerous weapon.
